Details This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 16 September 2025 to amend details in the description TG20NW 4/10021 SOUTH PARK AVENUE (north side) Mock bridge at Eaton Park including attached steps, walls and piers GV II Mock bridge, steps and walls. 1924-1928. By A Sandys Winsch. Painted concrete and rubblestone retaining walls. A balustraded raised driveway designed to look like a bridge stands between the Yachting Pond (qv) and the Lily Pond (qv). To either end and on either side are attached ramps and steps terminating in low square piers. From those on the northern side extend low retaining walls which surround the Lily Pond and join in a central flight of steps which lead up to the Bandstand and Quadrant Pavilions (qv). Part of significant group of structures in this park. Eaton Park is included in the English Heritage Register of Parks and Gardens at Grade II*.
