SD 73 NW 10/89 29-12-1952 LITTLE MITTON Mitton Bridge (Formerly Listed as: Mitton Bridge (that part in the formerClitheroe RD)) GV II Bridge over the River Ribble, probably early C19th. Sandstone ashlar. 3 segmental arches with rounded cutwaters. Solid parapet with string and weathered coping. The southern parapet is inscribed 'LITTLE MITTON LANCASHIRE. GREAT MITTON YORKSHIRE'.
