Category C Date Added 22/02/1972 Supplementary Information Updated 04/03/1994 Local Authority Aberdeenshire Planning Authority Aberdeenshire Parish Forglen NGR NJ 66200 50131 Coordinates 366200, 850131 — Later 18th century with 19th century alterations. Former corn mill, neglected and overgrown. Random rubble, possibly formerly harled. Gable end to road with loading bay at 1st floor. Wooden lean-to addition at left. Wooden floors, and some machinery inside. Grey slates, coped skews. — Mill on the site since 1289 (Simpson). Still in use in 1936. Shown as a corn mill on the OS Map, 1871-4. Listed for survival of components and historical reasons. No longer in working use.
