Details TL 61 NW GREAT DUNMOW HIGH EASTER ROAD 6/9 Martells Manor 20.2.67 II House. C15 hall house with crosswings, altered in C16 and C19. Timber framed and plastered with red plain tile roof. 2 storeys, with gabled crosswings to left and right. Right hand crosswing formerly jettied now underbuilt. 4 window range at first floor, C19 vertical sliding sashes with side lights, and C15 and C16 mullioned windows. Pediment doorcase on brackets. C17 and C20 pargetting. C16 red brick chimney stack to right hand wing. Central C16 chimney extensively rebuilt. Left hand wing is extended to the rear and clad in C19 painted brick. This wing has C20 casements and one C19 vertical sliding sash with sidelights in segmental head. 2 gabled dormers. 2 small C20 rear extensions with red plain tile roofs.
