Details EDLESTON C.P. MARSH LANE SJ 65 SW 4/61 Marsh Lane Bridge No.91 - - II Public road bridge over the main line of the Shropshire Union Canal, circa 1826 (consultant T.Telford). Blue bricks and stonework. Wide elliptical skew arch on stone base and metre high level brick abutments. Cast-iron rubbing posts to angles of arch and paved tow-path beneath bridge. One-brick-deep outer face to arch and projecting stone carriageway band. Splayed parapet approach walls of blue bricks and almost level parapet with rounded top and four-way rounded end-pier caps.
