Category B Date Added 16/04/1971 Local Authority Aberdeenshire Planning Authority Aberdeenshire Parish Lonmay NGR NK 03832 60197 Coordinates 403832, 860197 — 1787. Severe T-plan, squared granite cherry cocked with slate, skewputs, segment headed bird cage bellcote with ballfinial. Glazing altered. Interior of considerable interest, galleries N.W. & E. with two wooden columns each to ceiling, 3 arches in cove of ceiling W. & E. Original pulpit with fine ogee sounding board with balustraded arca in front. No monuments in churchyard except for Cairness enclosure. — Ecclesiastical building in use as such. The manse was built in 1824 but has been considerably altered and is of no interest.
