Details LAPWORTH STRATFORD-UPON-AVON CANAL SP17SE 1/51 Locks 7-14 (consec) and northern basin walls, and bridges 32 and 33 GV II Flight of locks. Early C19. Brick linings to locks and to northern walls of basins, with some C20 brick patching; some stone copings to locks. Wood single gates to upper ends of locks. Wood double gates to lower ends of locks. Split bridges. Early C19. Brick; cast-iron platforms with cast-iron trellis parapets. Single arch bridges. Brick parapets to approaches. Split in middle to allow the passing of the tow-rope from one side of canal to other without being unhitched. (Stratford Upon Avon Canal Guide: National Trust Guide Book. Undated.
