Category C Date Added 17/04/1986 Supplementary Information Updated 30/04/2024 Local Authority Highland Planning Authority Highland Parish Daviot And Dunlichity NGR NH 70954 37523 Coordinates 270954, 837523 — Built circa 1830 to replace an earlier 1815 bridge by Thomas Telford. Double span rubble bridge with slight hump-back. Dressed rubble arch rings. stumpy triangular cutwaters; dressed rubble parapet; splayed approaches. — Though the burn is narrow, it is liable to flooding the double span bridge crosses wide river bed, well defined by flanking squared rubble retaining walls. On Parliamentary road from Inverfarigaig to Daviot, to join main Perth road. The 1815 bridge was destroyed by flood on 28 August 1829 and was rebuilt circa 1830 (16th Report of the Commissioners for Highland Roads and Bridges, 1830, p.7). Listed building record updated in 2024.
