Details SU 65 SE MAPLEDURWELL & UP NATELY ANDWELL DROVE 11/58 10.1.77 Little Tunnel Bridge (including canal tunnel) II Circa 1790. Part of the Basingstoke Canal, in this locality now drained and partly filled-in. Brick arched short tunnel, each face having a recessed panel above the arch, with circular panels on each side. The parapet has mostly gone but is supported by a band projecting on brick stepped corbels. The towpath wall and cutwaters are also of brickwork. Each facade is slightly curved on plan, and battered at the base. Red brick in English bond.
