Details WESTONBIRT WITH LASBOROUGH ST 89 SW LASBOROUGH 6/189 Lasborough Manor ( formerly listed as Lasborough Farmhouse) 6.9.54 GV II* Former manor house and farmhouse, now detached private house. c1610 for Sir Thomas Estcourt. Random coursed rubble stone with flush quoins, stone slate roof, scattered stone stacks including large part-external stack to left on north front and new stack on restored south west range. Uneven U-shape with base of U in 2 sections with change of roof line and with projecting 2-storey porch on north front, mostly 2-storeys and attic. Scattered fenestration, mostly stone mullion and transoms to first floor, and stone mullions to ground floor, variable to attic, all hollow moulded with square hoodmoulds and leaded lights. Porch to north has wide 4-.centred archway with spandrel mouchettes and square hoodmould, coat of arms and 2 single lights over, renewed inner door. West side has 3-storey canted bay (including basement level) of 1/6/1 lights to north end. East side has large central gable and C19 gable added in former set-back section to right. South front restored in sympathetic style. Main chamber on first floor to north west has contemporary stone fireplace enriched with Estcourt heraldry; interior not otherwise inspected but reputed to have additional stone fireplaces and likely to be of interest.
