Category A Date Added 05/10/1971 Local Authority Perth And Kinross Planning Authority Perth And Kinross Parish Dunning NGR NO 00758 13274 Coordinates 300758, 713274 — Dated 1686 (now inside) reconstructed with widened principal jamb 1712. (1600 dormer head inserted over door is probably relic of earlier house). 3-storey and attic L-plan stair in angle now enclosed by widening of jamb, corbelled rectangular turret with lean-to roof. Finials N. gable, straight skews. 1st floor W. windows c. 1820. Interior remodelled c. 1920, doorway given gothic head and additional windows inserted with cemented surrounds. — Originally built by the Bonars who owned the estate from about 1454; sold 1692 to the Drummonds, passed to the Earl of Airlie by marriage 1812 sold to Lord Rollo after the death of the 8th countess of 1833.
