Details NX 91 SE ST BEES B5345 (West side) to south of St Bees 8/59 How Man, to south- 9.3.67 west of Howman Bridge II Farmhouse, cottage, and barn now house. Initialled and dated on stone over porch door BCA 1732 (probably re-set); remodelled C19. Pebble-dashed rubble with sill bands to each floor. Graduated slate roof with corniced stone mid and end chimneys. 2 storeys, 5 bays. Gabled porch has panelled door in chamfered stone surround with 4-centred head; 2 windows to either side, and one to north return, on each floor. All are 3-light, stone mullioned, sashes (some with glazing bars), with 4-centred head to each light, under hoodmoulds with labels. C20 garage door inserted to rear.
