Details SHERSTON CHURCH STREET ST 8486-8586 (west side) 7/79 Lychgate GV II Lychgate. C17 repaired in 1920 (recorded on War Memorial tablet on inner east wall). Coursed rubble side walls with some dressed stone to ends supporting gabled collar and tie-beam roof structure with stone slates. Roof open at ends, some renewal of timbers. Two-leaf C18 panelled gates to road. Listing NGR: ST8539985999 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register. These sources were not used in the compilation of this List entry but are added here as a guide for further reading, 16 December 2016.
