LANCASTER SD46SE 1685-1/1/337 30/11/70 HALTON ROAD, Skerton Halton Road Bridge (No.108) (Formerly Listed as: Halton Road Bridge (No.108), (that part in Lancaster District) and LANCASTER LANE, Halton Road Bridge (No 108) (that part in Lancaster City)) GV II Road bridge. c1797. By John Rennie (Engineer). For the Lancaster Canal Company. Coursed squared sandstone. Concave on plan, with slightly battered abutments. Semi-elliptical arch with large, alternately raised, voussoirs within a plain arch band incorporating the keystone. Roll-moulded band above and parapets with rounded coping.
