Details WHITCOMBE ROAD 1. 1445 CARISBROOKE Whitcombe Manor, Great Whitcombe SZ 48 NE 17/143 1.10.53. II 2. On the map called Great Whitcombe. Good C18 house. The main front faces south. 2 storeys. 5 windows. Red brick with long and short stone quoins. Brick stringcourse. Wooden eaves bracket cornice. Hipped slate roof. Glazing bars intact. Doorway in moulded architrave surround with projecting cornice over. The east front facing the road has an attic storey with 2 dormers and basement.
