Details WOTTON C.P. FOREST GREEN TQ 14SW 6/112 Gosterwood Manor 11/11/66 II Hall house. C15 core, extended in C16 and C17 restored in C20. Timber framed, exposed with brick infill to ground floor and first floor centre, cement render to right hand wing and parts of left hand wing over close studding. Horsham slab roofs hipped,and half-hipped to right. Originally L-shaped, now H-shaped house with shallow wings projecting to front. Two storeys. Corbelled stack to left of centre, front stack to right and further stacks to right of right hand wing and on ridge to left. Attic in left hand wing with three diamond-pane, diamond mullioned windows. Two small windows to first and ground floors. Three large, diamond-pane leaded casement windows to first floor centre under deep eaves with one smaller window. Two windows on ground floor and one oriel window to right. First floor oriel window on brackets and two ground floor windows to right wing. Passing brace to right. Ribbed door in Gothic-arched surround to right of centre. Left hand return front:- tile hung first floor, tile hanging canted out over ground floor. Close stud framing on Bargate stone plinth. Wing jettied to rear on braces. Rear - cross passage door in chamfered surround to left of centre. Square oriel window on centre bracket to return wall of left hand wing.
