Category C Date Added 23/06/2003 Local Authority Scottish Borders Planning Authority Scottish Borders Parish Selkirk NGR NT 43264 28119 Coordinates 343264, 628119 — Possibly 18th century. Broad single segmentally-arched bridge over Yarrow Water. Squared and snecked rubble, voussoirs. Mutuled band at base of ashlar-coped parapet with curved approaches and rounded outer piers to W. — Early photographs show a semicircular timber balustrade at SW. Thought to have been built by General MacKay but probably a replacement of that earlier structure.
