Category B Date Added 21/05/1971 Local Authority Highland Planning Authority Highland Burgh Inverness NGR NH 66475 45516 Coordinates 266475, 845516 — 1792-93; alterations, James Smith, 1822; alterations, Matthews and Lawrie, 1885-87. Coursed rubble, with droved ashlar dressings 6-bay front to Church Street with tall round-arched windows with keyblocks and imposts containing timber looptracery; at end bays window openings continued down as corniced doorpieces. Rusticated quoins at angles. Interior completely recast, 1885-7, and further altered 1936, contains pulpit of 1668.
