Details FOWEY 1. HANSON DRIVE 1584A Former windmill in the grounds of Fowey Hall SX 15 SW 2/112 II 2. Squat tower mill of Greek pattern with almost unbattered walls built of blocks of stone. The mill stands on what is probably the oldest windmill site in Cornwall since there is a record of a windmill here in 1290. The present building was converted into a folly in the C19.
