Category B Date Added 12/06/1972 Supplementary Information Updated 14/11/2008 Local Authority Clackmannanshire Planning Authority Clackmannanshire Burgh Tillicoultry NGR NS 91438 97463 Coordinates 291438, 697463 — Probably early 19th century. Single-span, segmental-arched road bridge, situated immediately to N of Clock Mill (see separate listing). Rubble, with semi-circular coping. — An important and integral part of the industrial heritage, of Tillicoultry, this bridge is situated close to Clock Mill and is likely to date from the same construction time as the Mill. It provided a link over the Tillicoultry Burn for mills constructed directly to the North. This area of Tillicoultry had 8 cotton mills in the mid 19th century, all of which were powered by the fast running Tillicoultry Burn and provided wealth for the town. List description updated, 2008.
