Category B Date Added 05/10/1971 Local Authority Highland Planning Authority Highland Parish Kilmuir NGR NG 39917 71859 Coordinates 139917, 871859 — Site of former 16th century parish church enclosed by simple stone and lime wall (1832). Various burial enclosures, including that of the Macleans with moulded and lugged doorpiece, dated 1793. 1861 monument to Flora Macdonald by D Davidson, Inverness, erected over her tomb. 2 late medieaval carved slabs, one with effigy of knight. — Two mediaeval tomb slabs only are Scheduled Monuments. Flora Macdonald monument erected on instructions of Capt. John Macleod, her great- grandson. Tomb formerly incorporated in enclosure of Macdonalds of Kingsborough.
