Solid parapet extends beyond piers terminated by secondary squat coped piers. — One of a set of 5 identical bridges in the parish 4 of which are listed; Townfoot and Station bridges in Jedburgh, and others at Hundalee and Inchbonny. Hundalee is not listed due to a design fault.
