Details EMBSAY WITH EASTBY SE05SW MAIN STREET 1298- /8/10001 War Memorial II War memorial. 1921. Gritstone. Square plan, with 3 steps supporting a large square base. The north face inscribed OUR GLORIOUS DEAD, 1914-1918, 1939-1945, the other faces are inscribed with the names of those who died. Above a stylised Saxon cross. The war memorial was un-veiled on the 21st of August 1921. Listing NGR: SE0101453825 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register. These sources were not used in the compilation of this List entry but are added here as a guide for further reading, 4 September 2017.
