Details STOKE HOLY CROSS DUNSTON TG 20 SW 4/71 Dunston Manor 26/11/59 (formerly listed under Ipswich Road) G.V. II House. Circa 1710. Brick with pantile roofs. Double pile plan. East front of 2 storeys and dormer attic in 5 bays. Central plank door in timber case below diamond overlight. Hood on scrolled consoles. One narrow sash left and right and 2 further sashes left and right again. These sashes with glazing bars and flush frames below segmental arches. Moulded platband at first floor. 5 C18 casements to first floor on concrete sills. Double dentil eaves cornice below gabled roof. Within roof are 3 gabled dormers containing casements. North and south gables are shaped and with platbands at attic level. Rear range of double pile also of 2 storeys and attic and also with shaped north and south gable heads. Outshut obscures west front. Each gable lit through 2 C20 ground floor casements, 2 original 2-light cross casements to first floor and a small C18 attic casement. Platband at eaves line.
