Details SP 19 NE DRAYTON BASSETT C.P. BIRMINGHAM AND FAZELEY CANAL 9/15 Drayton Brick Bridge 9.3.53 - II Canal bridge. Circa 1787. Red brick with stone coping. Single semi- circular arch spanning the canal, plain parapet and square end piers. Small round headed door to the left hand side of the arch on the north side. The Minworth to Fazeley branch of the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal, which Drayton Brick Bridge serves, was opened in 1789; the contractor was John Pinkerton. S. R.
