Details The asset was previously listed twice also under List entry 1281566. This entry was removed from the list on 14 November 2016. NY 96 SW 2/215 HEXHAMSHIRE LOW QUARTER DIPTON MILL Dipton Mill Bridge II Bridge, dated 1822 on panel (now badly eroded) on internal face of west parapet, widened in C20. West face shows segmental arch with boldly- projecting string above carried on hollow-chamfered corbels; abutments set slightly forwards, with continued string of slighter projection. Parapets with sloped coping (splayed out to south) terminate in piers with low pyramidal caps. East face is C20 facsimile of west, with old corbels, string and parapet re-set.
