Details ST56SE CHEW MAGNA 1763- /3/10003 Crickback Bridge, at ST573629 II Bridge. Probably C17. Coursed local rubble with pointed arch to each side of central cutwater. The bridge was not built with a parapet, being intended for local pedestrian traffic, and has a cobbled upper surface worn to the centre rather than to the sides. The detailing to this bridge suggests a pre- eighteenth century date. This is a rare surviving example of this type of small rural bridge.
