Details PEAN HILL 1. 5273 (East Side) Court Lees Manor TR 16 SW 6/51 30.3.51. II 2. Square early C19 house. 2 storeys and attic. 3 windows. Front stuccoed, ground floor rusticated. Pilasters flankin g front. Centre window bay projects and is carried up to contain a 3-light lunette window on the 2nd floor with cornice and parapet over it. Between this centre portion and the pilasters is a balustraded parapet with 2 round-headed dormers, behind it. Slate roof, hipped in front, mansarded at the sides. Windows recessed in archding, those on the ground floor round-headed, those on the 1st floor segmental-headed, the centre 1 with an architrave over supported on consoles. Glazing bars intact above the ground floor. Porch of the solid type with twin Doric pilasters flanking it and cornice and parapet over. The sides of the house are painted brick. Rendered brick piers, wooden gate posts and spear railings either side before house. Entrance gate from Pean Hill white painted term type timber between brick end rendered rusticated piers, having stone cornice surmounted by the anthemion contained within a semi-circle on 4 faces.
