Details NZ 2564 SW NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE CITY ROAD (south side) 21/162 Corner Tower 17/12/71 G.V. I Internal turret of Town Wall. Medieval. Large blocks of coursed and squared sandstone. 2 turrets at right-angles, indicating change in direction of wall to include Pandon, with buttress on south. Source: E.
