Details CLUNBURY C.P. CLUNBURY SO 38 SE 4/58 Clunbury Bridge - - II Bridge. 1837 by Edward Haycock. Regularly coursed and dressed limestone rubble with coped parapet. Single segmental arch with projecting keystone and voussoirs; flat string course terminating in rectangular corner piers with slightly curved approaches. The contract for construction dated 4th April 1837 and worth £400, was awarded to Matthew Stead, the younger. Spans the River Clun. A. Blackwall, Historic Bridges of Shropshire (1985)p. 76.
