Category B Date Added 31/03/1993 Local Authority Na h-Eileanan Siar Planning Authority Na h-Eileanan Siar Parish Barvas NGR NB 50588 61933 Coordinates 150588, 961933 — One of a series of three near-identical churches, the others being at Garrabost and at Barvas. Presumably - like these others - a United Free church originally, of circa 1910. Piend-roofed large box-type, with tall and narrow round-arched lighs, 5 x 3 bays, entrance on west flank, a wide arched doorway set between the windows, wall-head belfry over. All dry-dashed, painted ingoes, slated roof with simplified axial ventilator; modern glazing. Vestry/session house on east flank. Inside, gallery on west wall, supported on cast-iron columns, pulpit opposite with arcaded panelled front. Perimeter wall, mostly rubble, dry-dashed at west.
