Details ST 7693 4/23 WOTTON-UNDER-EDGE THE CHIPPING 23.6.52 (west) No. 5 (Chipping Manor) GV II Large detached dwelling, now offices and salerooms. Late C18. Rendering, ashlared, concrete tile roof. Deep double unit, each with hipped roof, plus third unit set back, right. Two storeys, five windowed, sashes in moulded architraves and with glazing bars; central door under arch six panel side lights glazed and large radial bar fanlight. This unit with moulded parapet with fine fluting and flat corner pilasters to right, three storey, three-windowed unit, sashes with bars. Rear unit two storey, five windowed, sashes with bars; first floor central Venetian window; ground floor two French doors. New pilastered and pedimented central door. Contemporary window shutters generally inside; one panelled room with alcove (ground floor, right); early C19 staircase in back half.
