Details SD 90 NW CHADDERTON MIDDLETON ROAD (north side) 4/8 Chadderton War - Memorial - II War memorial. c.1920. Bronze statue, stone obelisk. Battle- clad figure clasping a gun stands in front of an obelisk on pedestal and stylobate. Inscription reads "In honour of the men of Chadderton who made the supreme sacrifice and in grateful remembrance of all who served their country in the wars of 1914-19 and 1939-45". Listing NGR: SD9101405301 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register.
