Details NY 65 SE 12/140 21.7.80 KNARESDALE WITH KIRKHAUGH BURNSTONES Burnstones Bridge carrying A689 over Thinhope Burn( Previously listed as Burnstones Viaduct) GV II Bridge, C18 rebuilt in 1940 from original materials (datestone on internal face of east parapet). Squared rubble. 2 segmental arches with arch rings; central pier has semicircular cutwater with conical cap. Flanking pilasters. Band below parapet with arched coping; pilasters carried up as piers with low pyramidal caps.
