Details 5339 STANWICK ST JOHN CARLTON PARK NZ 11 SE 3/178 Bridge over Aldbrough Beck - II Bridge. Probably early C19. Sandstone ashlar and rubble. Single segmental arch of ashlar voussoirs with herringbone tooling. Rubble spandrels. Ashlar band. Parapet of ashlar balusters, of rectangular section except for central one which is square in section, supporting flat ashlar coping, and with square ashlar terminals, that to north with bench mark on inside face. The bridge is of similar design to that at Hartforth (qv). Listing NGR: NZ1916912540 Legacy The contents of this record have been generated from a legacy data system.
