Details ST 78 SE DODINGTON C.P. DODINGTON PARK 3/74 Bridge, flanking walls and piers about 40 metres north east of G.V. fishing lodge II Bridge, flanking walls and piers. Late C18/early C19, part of the planned walk around the lake. Rusticated sandstone, limestone rubble and ashlar. North elevation has central round-headed arch, blocked with rockfaced snecked limestone rubble, voussoirs and heavy vermiculated keystone, plain pilasters broken forward to each side; wall to each side with doorway. Limestone rubble wall swept round at each side to large square terminal pier in limestone ashlar with cornice and blocking course; distance between 2 piers about 24 metres. South elevation has round-headed arch as at north, with small round openings in side walls instead of doorways, limestone parapet; limestone rubble wall swept round at each side to similar smaller ashlar piers; distance between 2 piers about 17 metres.
