Details GOUDHURST BEDGEBURY PARK TQ 73 SW 9/85 Bridge and dam wall at TQ 721 339 GV II Bridge and dam wall. Mid C19. Sandstone blocks. To the south, the walling forms part of the retaining wall to Marshalls Lake, with a semi-circular sink-hole to take overflow water. The culvert passes out to the north side, round-headed with flanking offset buttresses. Parapet walls to roadside, about 3 feet high, with small terminating buttresses. Part of Alexander Beresford-Hope's improvements to the park at Bedgebury; now part of the Bedgebury National Pinetum.
