Details EAST DEAN BIRLING GAP ROAD 1. 5208 Bardolf's Hall, Birling Manor TV 59 NE 28/1D II 2. Partly medieval in origin and said to have been a chapel but probably a domestic and not an ecclesiastical building. Later incorporated in a barn, which was restored by F C Benz in 1926. Now a hall and garage. Partly C13, partly C18. Faced with flints with red brick dressings and quoins. Tiled roof.
