Details SK3488SE 784-1/14/47 18/11/85 SHEFFIELD BALL STREET Ball Street Bridge (Formerly Listed as: KELHAM WEIR Ball Street Bridge, Beckett's Gable Wall, Kelham Weir) GV II Road bridge spanning the River Don. c1856, rebuilt 1864, and widened 1900. Made by the Milton Iron Works, Elsecar. 3 cast-iron spans carried on ashlar piers with cusped trefoil and quatrefoil spandrels. Ashlar pedestals with stepped square caps. Traceried cast-iron balustrade and handrail with panelled piers, the central one larger. Listing NGR: SK3496688301 Legacy The contents of this record have been generated from a legacy data system.
