Category B Date Added 01/03/1996 Local Authority Fife Planning Authority Fife Parish Markinch NGR NO 32422 00565 Coordinates 332422, 700565 — Probably rebuilt 19th century. Single arch bridge over River Leven. Squared and coursed rubble with ashlar coped parapet and circular terminal piers. Armorial panel (from previous bridge?) to E. — Situated on access route to site of 17th century Balfour House (home of the Beatoun?s) remodelled by David Bryce in 1853, of which only the walled garden (listed separately) remains.
