Details CHETWYND ASTON Aston Manor 1. 5362 SJ 71 NE 25/57 II GV 2. Circa early C18 brick house on sandstone plinth and with steeply pitched tiled roof with gabled ends. Two storeys and attic. Two window range. C19 tripartite sashes with painted stone lintels. C19 pilastered central doorway with entablature. Two brick stringcourses. Large external chimney stack at south end and another large stack over contemporary rear wing which has late C19 extension. Interior: rear staircase retains on large newel which is square in section with an onion-shaped finial.
