Details SE 29 SE 3/7 5.5.52 AINDERBY MIERS WITH HOLTBY BOWBRIDGE LANE (south side, off) Ainderby Myers Manor (formerly listed as Ainderby Myers Manor House) II Farmhouse. Late C16 with later alterations. Rubblestone with ashlar dressings, concrete tile roof. Plan: main range with 2 gabled wings projecting northwards, one at each end, wall and gateway between. North elevation: 2 storeys, 4 bays. Quoins. Central 2 bays set back (ie south wing), to ground floor a C20 lean-to. To left wing a C20 stone gabled one- storey addition and a C20 casement. To right wing, large C20 window. First floor: to left central bay 2 side-sliding sashes with-glazing bars set in 4- light chamfered mullioned surround, only central mullion survives. To its right a 2-light chamfered mullioned window. Right wing has C20 casement. Left wing has a 3-light chamfered mullioned window with hoodmould, above in gable a blind 2-light chamfered mullion with hoodmould. This gable has moulded coping. Large ridge stack to south wing. Ridge stacks. C17 archway to north, linking wings, is semicircular headed with moulded imposts, archivolt and carved keystone; spandrels with armorial shields . Above a moulded cornice. Left return has three 2-light chamfered mullioned windows to first floor, other openings C20. South front now rendered with modern windows. Interior: under large stack a large inglenook fireplace, to either side are niches with chamfered basket-arched lintels.
