UK stargazing — dark-sky reserves

The seven Dark Sky Reserves and parks.

The International Dark-Sky Association has designated seven Dark Sky Reserves or Parks in the UK: Brecon Beacons (Wales), Exmoor, the Cairngorms, Galloway Forest Park, Northumberland, the South Downs, and the Yorkshire Dales/North York Moors (joint). All run public stargazing nights through autumn and winter; some host astrophotography workshops.
